What types of skin conditions does the DermaSweep MD treat?

DermaSweep treats inflammation of the oil glands of the skin which results in spots most commonly on the face, chest and back. This usually starts in teenage years. It's not an issue of personal diet or being unclean, but more linked with the action of hormones in the oil glands. In addition, Dermasweep successfully treats: acne, brown spots, sun spots, pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, dehydrated skin, acne scars and anti-aging. The procedure smooths, heals and rehydrates the skin which restores it to a more youthful healthy glow.

How long does the treatment take?

Treatments typically take about One hour and may include organic fruit peels, hydration, anti aging, or soothing masks. All treatments include a luxurious relaxing facial massage.

What will I need to do after treatment?

A complimentary skin care consultation will be included in your treatment.Your provider will recommend skin moisturizers, serums, cleansers and sunscreen that you may use at home to maintain the results of your treatment.

Is the treatment painful?

No, the treatment is safe and painless. You may feel mild skin tightening, or a windburned feeling during and after treatment. DemaSweep does NOT use aluminum oxide crystals that can remain embedded in the skin and cause irritation, therefore the risks associated with traditional exfoliation or microdermabrasion are eliminated.

What will my skin look like after treatment?

Your skin will have a warm pink glow that can last several hours. Your post treatment care is simple and will be explained to you by your provider.

How long will it take to see results?

Typically you will see results after your first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will be seen after 4 to 6 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart.
